TSMC Jumps 5% Surpassing Berkshire in Market Value

TSMC shares rose 5%, giving it a market valuation of $903B. Berkshire's market capitalization stood at $890B, falling behind TSMC.

Semiconductor stocks gained in morning trading. Nvidia rose 5%; Micron rose 4.3%; Arm rose 4%; ASML rose 3.8%; Super Micro Computer rose 3.7%; Marvell rose 3%; Qualcomm rose 2.5%.

ASML has gotten the green light to build a new campus on a large piece of land next to Eindhoven Airport. The Eindhoven city council approved the mayor and aldermen’s plan for the expansion on Tuesday, NOS reports.

ASML will get around 50 hectares at its disposal. The company, which currently employs around 23,000 people in the Netherlands, wants to build a campus in Eindhoven with around 20,000 extra jobs.
