The cumulative amount of electricity generated by the Tianwan Nuclear Power Base in Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province, and fed into the national power grid has now exceeded 500 billion kilowatt-hours, demonstrating substantial carbon reduction benefits.
This nuclear power base is planned to host eight nuclear power units, each with a capacity of one million kilowatts. At present, six of these units have been constructed and are operational, with the remaining two currently under development.
Upon the completion of all units, the base is set to become a major hub for clean energy in the East China region.
