A profit alert has been issued by HBM Holdings-B (02142). The company released an announcement projecting revenue for the six months ending June 30, 2026, to be in the range of approximately $120 million (equivalent to about HK$941 million) to $125 million (equivalent to about HK$980 million). This compares to revenue of approximately $101 million for the same period ending June 30, 2025.
Net profit for the six months ending June 30, 2026, is expected to be between roughly $62 million (equivalent to about HK$486 million) and $67 million (equivalent to about HK$525 million). The company also anticipates total adjusted profit in the range of $70 million (equivalent to about HK$549 million) to $75 million (equivalent to about HK$588 million).
The expected revenue growth and scaled profitability are primarily attributed to several factors: continued strategic collaborations with leading global multinational pharmaceutical companies, such as the long-term strategic partnership with AstraZeneca and the global strategic alliance with Bristol-Myers Squibb; out-licensing of innovative products and related cooperation, including a licensing agreement with Solstice Oncology and milestone payments from previous out-licensing deals as projects progress; and robust growth in the Nona Biosciences antibody-related business, encompassing revenue from antibody transactions and antibody discovery, such as the collaboration with Lonza.
