CHINA EAST AIR (00670) announced that in October 2025, its passenger capacity, measured in available seat kilometers (ASK), rose by 6.84% year-on-year. Passenger traffic, measured in revenue passenger kilometers (RPK), increased by 10.58% YoY, with the passenger load factor reaching 87.52%, up 2.97 percentage points compared to the same period last year. Cargo and mail traffic, measured in freight ton kilometers (FTK), grew by 14.59% YoY.
In the domestic market during October 2025, the company launched new routes including Chengdu Tianfu-Cangyuan, Chengdu Tianfu-Tianjin, Hangzhou-Urumqi, Hefei-Fuzhou, and Hefei-Jinjiang. It also resumed flights on routes such as Shanghai Pudong-Nanchong, Kunming-Luoyang, Qingdao-Jieyang Chaoshan, and Yantai-Ningbo. Additionally, the company increased flight frequency on routes like Shanghai Hongqiao-Beijing Daxing, Shanghai Hongqiao-Guangzhou, Shanghai Hongqiao-Sanya, Shanghai Hongqiao-Changsha, Shanghai Pudong-Xi'an, Shanghai Pudong-Kunming, and Shanghai Pudong-Sanya.
In the international and regional markets, CHINA EAST AIR introduced new routes including Taiyuan-Changsha-Singapore and Taiyuan-Kunming-Kuala Lumpur. It also increased flight frequency on routes such as Shanghai Pudong-Phuket, Shanghai Pudong-Colombo, Shanghai Pudong-Kuala Lumpur, Kunming-Hong Kong, and Taiyuan-Hong Kong.
In October 2025, the company added four A320 series aircraft to its fleet while retiring two A320 series aircraft. As of the end of October 2025, CHINA EAST AIR operated a total of 822 aircraft.
