Netizens pointed out that in the constellation diagram printed on the Year of the Horse Moutai's outer packaging, the character "昴" in "昴宿" (The Hairy Head constellation) was misprinted, incorrectly written as the visually similar character "昂". That same evening, the "Xiaomao iMoutai" WeChat official account posted an article acknowledging that, upon immediate verification, it was confirmed that a single stroke "丿" was indeed missing, changing the character from "昴" to "昂". The company had immediately contacted the supply chain to work overtime on making the corrections. Consumers who had already received their product were advised that if they wished to exchange it, they could visit their nearest Moutai flagship store for a replacement.
