Anthropic PBC has informed prospective investors that its third-quarter revenue climbed to $16.8 billion, according to people familiar with the matter, as the artificial intelligence model developer moves ahead with plans to go public.
The company behind Claude told investors at a presentation held Wednesday at its San Francisco headquarters that it achieved profitability on an adjusted basis in the third quarter.
Earlier reports indicated that Anthropic could formally kick off its initial public offering (IPO) roadshow as soon as the week of November 9, with trading potentially beginning before Thanksgiving. Anthropic is expected to list by the end of the year at the latest.
