On April 16, JD.com introduced the JoyEgoCam ultra-high-definition data capture terminal during its Embodied Intelligence Ecosystem event. The device is described as the world's first embodied intelligence data infrastructure covering the entire workflow from data collection and storage to labeling, training, evaluation, simulation, and testing. By refining data from capture to large-scale training, and from simulation assessment to compliant transactions, JD Cloud aims to accelerate the evolution of AI models in real-world environments.
In March, JD.com announced it had launched the largest data collection initiative in history, with a goal to accumulate over 10 million hours of real-world video data within two years.
