Information from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange reveals a significant shareholding change for JIANGXI COPPER (00358) on June 11th. The total value of shares involved in the transfer was HK$9.22 billion, representing approximately 2.04% of the issued share capital. In this transaction, a shareholder moved 22.2745 million shares into BNP Paribas and transferred 26.1133 million shares out of Citibank.

This development follows the company's recent release of its first-quarter 2026 financial results. The group reported operating revenue of RMB 139.124 billion, marking a year-on-year increase of 25.39%. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company reached RMB 2.818 billion, a substantial rise of 44.31% compared to the same period last year. Basic earnings per share for the quarter stood at RMB 0.82.
