Zhang Zetian explained that the primary purpose of this audio episode was to discuss her motivations for starting a podcast and the reasoning behind the chosen name, "Xiao Tian Zhang." She revealed that before settling on this name, she had considered numerous other options, but ultimately circled back to "Xiao Tian Zhang." She noted that "Tian Zhang" signifies the fundamental laws governing the universe and has also been her long-standing WeChat name. Adopting this name represents her desire to present herself in a more authentic manner to her audience. On January 10, Cheng Yanliang, the co-founder of the podcast company JustPod, shared a photo with Zhang Zetian on his WeChat Moments, captioning it "New podcast force of 2026." Following this, Zhang Zetian herself shared a work photo with the caption "brainstorming session." As of the time of reporting, just two hours after its launch, Zhang Zetian's personal podcast "Xiao Tian Zhang" had already garnered 9,171 subscribers and surpassed 16,000 listens.
