From September 8 to December 19, 2025, Youxian District Zhongxing Middle School held its inaugural Young Teachers' Teaching Competition, themed "Focus on the Classroom, Reduce Burden and Increase Efficiency."
Over the three-month period, the school's young teachers presented a variety of engaging lessons across different grade levels. The school's teaching research office organized faculty to observe, evaluate, and discuss lessons according to their respective subjects and schedules. In the classroom, teachers adopted a student-centered approach, empowering students to take charge of their learning. Methods such as independent study, collaborative exchange, presentation and reporting, and evaluation and questioning were frequently employed. The classroom atmosphere was dynamic, with teachers stepping away from the podium to provide targeted support to students needing assistance, encouraging them to speak more, speak confidently, and speak boldly, resulting in positive educational outcomes.
The competition was conducted in two phases: an opening ceremony and a final round, with active participation from the entire school community. The event awarded Grand Prizes, First Prizes, and Second Prizes. Through on-site scoring, four teachers, including Liu Meng, received the Grand Prize; six teachers, including Hou Tian, received the First Prize; and five teachers, including Wang Guihong, received the Second Prize.
A relevant official from Youxian District Zhongxing Middle School stated that this activity not only accelerated the professional growth of the school's young teachers but also established a platform for interaction and exchange among teachers of various disciplines, thereby effectively advancing the improvement of the faculty's overall educational and teaching capabilities.
