Recently, Xijingye Community in Shiyou Street launched a special campaign focused on refined environmental cleanup and comprehensive safety hazard inspections, aiming to continuously improve the living environment, solidify grassroots safety defenses, and foster a clean, orderly, and secure residential atmosphere. The initiative is part of broader efforts to raise community governance standards.
In the environmental improvement work, the community divided responsibilities by grid units, ensuring full coverage with no blind spots. Staff members tackled disorderly piles and scattered debris in the residential area, systematically checking and clearing clutter point by point without shying away from dirt or fatigue. At the same time, the community strengthened its grid worker "two patrols per day" mechanism and increased routine cleaning frequency, ensuring timely correction of discovered issues and long-term control of recurring problems. This approach effectively prevents the resurgence of messiness and significantly boosts the community's overall appearance and residents' comfort.
While pressing ahead with environmental cleanup, the community also kept a tight grip on production safety, carrying out a full-coverage inspection and rectification campaign for safety hazards in its jurisdiction. Led by street supervisors, community workers joined forces with firefighters from the street fire station to conduct meticulous, door-to-door checks of key locations such as roadside shops, fire access routes, and gas and electrical facilities. The inspections were problem-oriented: any hazards found were registered on the spot, recorded in detail, and compiled into a unified hazard ledger with designated rectification responsibilities, measures, and deadlines. This ensures that all safety risks are dynamically cleared and thoroughly addressed, leaving no blind spots or hidden dangers.
In addition, staff carried out fire safety awareness activities. Firefighters on site educated shop operators and residents about safe use of fire, electricity, and gas, initial fire response, and escape and self-rescue techniques, effectively enhancing the public's safety awareness and emergency response capabilities.
Going forward, Xijingye Community will continue its regular environmental improvement and safety inspection work, refining living environment governance and hazard checks. Through meticulous management and routine control, it aims to steadily optimize the neighborhood environment, reinforce the community's safety and stability barrier, and genuinely elevate residents' sense of happiness, fulfillment, and security.
