December 16: "Agricultural Product Wholesale Price 200 Index" Rises 0.06 Points from Yesterday

On December 16, the "Agricultural Product Wholesale Price 200 Index" stood at 130.72, marking an increase of 0.06 points compared to the previous day. The "Vegetable Basket" product wholesale price index reached 133.66, also up by 0.06 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the national average wholesale price of pork in agricultural markets remained unchanged at 17.40 yuan/kg. Beef prices held steady at 66.00 yuan/kg, while lamb prices rose 0.2% to 62.64 yuan/kg. Egg prices declined 0.4% to 7.45 yuan/kg, and broiler chicken prices dropped 1.7% to 17.70 yuan/kg.

The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables decreased by 0.5% to 5.93 yuan/kg, and the average price of six key fruits fell 0.5% to 7.53 yuan/kg. Crucian carp prices dipped 0.9% to 19.20 yuan/kg, whereas carp prices increased 1.4% to 14.01 yuan/kg. Silver carp prices declined 2.8% to 10.14 yuan/kg, and large hairtail prices dropped 1.1% to 39.71 yuan/kg.

Among the 46 key agricultural products monitored today, the top five gainers were pears, winter melon, pumpkin, watermelon, and carrots, with increases of 3.2%, 2.9%, 2.4%, 1.7%, and 1.7%, respectively. The top five decliners were onions, Fuji apples, cauliflower, lettuce, and silver carp, with decreases of 3.8%, 3.7%, 3.6%, 3.5%, and 2.8%, respectively.
