At 10:00 AM on August 28, high-tech chips valued at over 92 million yuan completed their warehouse entry, marking the official commencement of operations for Zhongshan Hongxin Suhang Supply Chain's public bonded warehouse. This "chip hub," strategically positioned by semiconductor leader Shenzhen Longsys Electronics Co.,Ltd., leverages the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge to create a new engine for coordinated semiconductor industry development across the eastern and western shores of the Pearl River estuary.

In August this year, the General Administration of Customs officially approved Zhongshan Bonded Logistics Center as the sole pilot unit in South China to pioneer the implementation of nine comprehensive bonded zone reform measures. With strong support from Gongbei Customs and Zhongshan Customs, the Hongxin Suhang bonded warehouse has officially launched operations, providing one-stop services including storage, sorting, customs clearance, procurement agency, and financing for semiconductor enterprises dealing with wafers, integrated circuits, and memory cards. The facility is expected to generate hundreds of billions in trade volume, industrial attraction, and capital aggregation for Zhongshan, significantly enhancing the city's global distribution and supply chain hub capabilities for strategic industries such as semiconductors.

Prior to the unveiling ceremony, Guo Wenhai conducted an inspection tour of the Hongxin Suhang bonded warehouse, learning about its construction, operations, and functional positioning. Hongxin Suhang Chairman Chen Zeyu stated that previously, chip transfers from Shenzhen or Hong Kong warehouses averaged 24 hours. With strong support from the municipal Party committee and customs departments, Hongxin Suhang rapidly completed the processes of bonded warehouse approval, acceptance, and opening. Now with the bonded warehouse positioned in Zhongshan, customers can begin production just two hours after placing orders, significantly shortening supply chain response time and markedly improving production efficiency.
On the same day, a conference supporting supply chain integration development across the eastern and western shores of the Pearl River estuary and promoting pilot comprehensive bonded zone reform measures at Zhongshan Bonded Logistics Center was held simultaneously, introducing 15 measures supporting the high-quality development of Zhongshan Bonded Logistics Center to numerous foreign trade enterprises.
