Zijin Mining Group Company Limited (601899.SH) has released its annual report for 2025. The company achieved operating revenue of 349.079 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 14.96%. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company reached 51.777 billion yuan, a significant rise of 61.55% compared to the previous year. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company after deducting non-recurring gains and losses was 50.724 billion yuan, up 60.05% year-on-year. Basic earnings per share stood at 1.95 yuan. Furthermore, the company proposed a cash dividend of 3.8 yuan per 10 shares (before tax).
The company's total resource reserves include over 4,600 tonnes of gold, approximately 110 million tonnes of copper, more than 12 million tonnes of zinc (and lead), and over 18 million tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent. During the reporting period, the company's mine-produced gold output was 89,544 kilograms (2,878,919 ounces), an increase of 22.77% from the previous year (previous year: 72,938 kg). Smelting, processing, and trading gold amounted to 163,311 kilograms (5,250,580 ounces), a decrease of 28.60% compared to the prior year (previous year: 228,725 kg). According to data from the China Gold Association, China's total mine-produced gold output in 2025 was 381 tonnes, meaning Zijin Mining's output accounted for 23% of the national total. Revenue from the gold business constituted 44.43% of the operating revenue for the reporting period (post-elimination), and its gross profit contributed 40.89% to the group's total gross profit.
In the reporting period, the company's mine-produced copper output was 1,085,126 tonnes, a slight increase of 1.56% year-on-year (previous year: 1,068,455 tonnes). Smelter-produced copper output was 697,588 tonnes, down 6.69% compared to the previous year (previous year: 747,570 tonnes). Mine-produced zinc-in-concentrate output was 357,453 tonnes, a decrease of 12.19% from the prior year (previous year: 407,077 tonnes). Smelter-produced zinc ingot output was 397,679 tonnes, an increase of 7.17% compared to the previous year (previous year: 371,057 tonnes). Lead-in-concentrate output was 41,065 tonnes, down 7.51% year-on-year (previous year: 44,397 tonnes).
In the new energy sector, the company continued its strategic deployment of wind and solar green power projects at its mining sites. It is advancing the energy structure transition by replacing diesel with electricity and natural gas in mining equipment, actively utilizing renewable energy from local power grids at project sites, and participating in green certificate trading on the power grid. During the reporting period, the company's consumption of clean energy reached 6.341 billion kWh, accounting for 54.43% of its total annual electricity consumption. Its installed capacity for clean energy exceeded 1,000 MW, with corresponding equity-based clean power generation reaching 952.46 GWh, a substantial increase of 69% year-on-year.
