The company issued 35.456 million shares at HK$14.28 per share, raising HK$506 million. The proceeds will primarily be used for capacity expansion, R&D of new film materials, and industrial chain integration.
HAIWEI ELEC, headquartered in Jing County, Hengshui City, specializes in the R&D and production of key materials such as capacitor base films and metallized films. The company holds 58 patents and possesses proprietary core technology for designing capacitor base film production lines. Its products are widely used in new energy vehicles, photovoltaic energy storage, and industrial equipment.
Hebei Province has been actively leveraging capital market opportunities this year. The provincial government has implemented measures including the "Provincial Enterprise Listing Promotion Plan" and organized events like the "Hebei Capital Market Forum" to accelerate corporate financing through public listings. With HAIWEI ELEC's successful IPO, Hebei now has 122 listed companies (including 4 dual-listed A+H firms), 35 of which are listed on HKEX.
