UK Defence Secretary John Healey has stepped down from his government role.
In his resignation letter posted on the social media platform X, Healey stated that Prime Minister Keir Starmer "has been unable, and the Treasury has been unwilling, to commit the resources the country needs to defend itself in a time of rising threats".
