Hot sectors, self-selected stocks, data centers, market trends, capital flow, and simulated trading clients are all active as of August 11, with Hong Kong stocks continuing their downward trend.

The Hang Seng Tech Index has expanded its losses to 1%. Among the index's constituent stocks, NIO Inc. fell nearly 3%, while JD.com, Tencent Holdings, Xiaomi Corporation, Baidu Inc., and Zhipu AI all dropped over 2%.

On the evening of August 10, the Hang Seng Indexes Company issued an announcement to solicit market opinions on a proposed revision to the Hang Seng Tech Index. The revision primarily focuses on two aspects: the scope of technology themes and the number of constituent stocks. It plans to increase the number of constituent stocks in the Hang Seng Tech Index from the current 30 to 50, while also expanding the coverage of technology topics. According to the schedule, the revision plan is expected to be announced by the end of September, with the corresponding constituent stock changes taking effect on the index adjustment day in December.
