China Shenhua Energy Declares RMB 0.98 Interim Dividend for 1H 2026; HKD 1.139 Equivalent Payable on 23 November

China Shenhua Energy Company Limited has announced an interim cash dividend of RMB 0.98 per share for the six months ended 30 June 2026, corresponding to HKD 1.139 per H-share based on an exchange rate of RMB 1 = HKD 1.1621.

Key timetable • Ex-dividend date: 8 October 2026 • Last day to lodge share transfers: 9 October 2026 (16:30 HKT) • Book-closure period: 10–16 October 2026 • Record date: 16 October 2026 • Dividend payment date: 23 November 2026

Shareholders approved the distribution at the company’s 23 September 2026 meeting. The payment relates to the financial year ending 31 December 2026.

Withholding-tax framework • Non-resident enterprise shareholders: 10% withholding. • Non-resident individual shareholders resident in Hong Kong, Macau or treaty countries with a 10% rate: 10% withholding. • Non-resident individual shareholders from jurisdictions without treaties or with a 20% rate: 20% withholding. • Mainland individual investors and funds holding H-shares via Shanghai-Hong Kong or Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect: 20% withholding.

Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited will handle registration matters during the book-closure period at 17M/F, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen’s Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.

The announcement also updates the default payment currency, the HKD equivalent amount, the applicable exchange rate, and the current board composition led by Executive Director Mr. Zhang Changyan.
