Pre-sales have commenced for Xiaomi's Mi Air Purifier 6 Max, with the new product available at a launch price of 3,999 yuan and a government-subsidized price of 3,798.99 yuan. The model emphasizes "dual motor powerful airflow and full-cycle purification for new homes," targeting renovation scenarios and larger households.
The Mi Air Purifier 6 Max is equipped with a dual motor power system and features a three-sided air intake design. It delivers a Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of 25,000 liters per minute, claimed to purify the air in a 25-square-meter living room within three minutes. With a maximum coverage area of 97 square meters, it meets the needs of larger spaces requiring rapid air circulation.
The product introduces dual filter sets tailored for renovation phases: a "Renovation Filter" and an "All-in-One Filter." It incorporates a built-in UV sterilization module designed to effectively neutralize bacteria and viruses, providing broad-spectrum disinfection of airborne microorganisms and internal components. The purifier has received seven professional certifications, including recognition as a maternal and infant-grade air purifier, allergen removal certification, and sleep-grade low-noise certification, achieving a 99.9% removal rate for various bacteria and viruses.
For allergy sufferers, the device offers enhanced allergen removal, eliminating up to 99.0%–99.3% of pollen, dust mites, and pet dander. It also removes over 98% of odors caused by ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, and acetic acid.
The Mi Air Purifier 6 Max includes a high-precision pollution monitoring system utilizing microbial risk index monitoring technology, developed as part of a national air quality research initiative. Developed in collaboration with Peking University Health Science Center and the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, it displays real-time nine-dimensional air quality data covering formaldehyde, VOC, CO₂, PM1, PM2.5, PM10, temperature, and humidity.
Through the Mi Home app, users can access daily smart formaldehyde reports and real-time purification data, allowing clear tracking of post-renovation formaldehyde levels and concentration changes to facilitate informed moving decisions. The product supports Xiaomi's HyperOS Connect, enabling voice-activated air purification with simple commands.
Operating noise is as low as 31.8 dB(A), and the display can be turned off to avoid sleep disruption. Design features include a sealed top cover that can hold items, a magnetic back panel for easy access, and hidden omnidirectional wheels, blending practicality with home aesthetics.
