Hong Kong-listed Phoenix Media Investment (Holdings) Limited (PHOENIX TV) announced simultaneous board and committee changes effective 14 August 2026. Non-executive directors Qiu Baohua and Cui Xian have resigned owing to other work arrangements. Qiu also stepped down from the remuneration committee, while Cui vacated his seats on both the audit committee and the risk management committee.
To fill the vacancy, the Board appointed Guo Yutong, 43, as a non-executive director. Guo, a Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Public Accountant, is Deputy Head of Consumer and Financial Institutions Group Investment Division at Bank of China Group Investment Limited. Her prior experience includes senior roles at Bank of China’s head office (2013–2025) and earlier work at PricewaterhouseCoopers (2008–2012). She holds a master’s degree in International Finance from the University of International Business and Economics.
Guo has also been named to the audit committee and the risk management committee, replacing Cui. She has executed a three-year appointment letter, is subject to retirement by rotation at the next annual general meeting, and will receive no director’s fee—consistent with existing non-executive directors.
Following these changes, the Board comprises: Executive Directors Xu Wei (Chairman and CEO) and Li Ting (Deputy CEO and Editor-in-Chief); Non-executive Directors Ho Chiu King, Pansy Catilina (Vice-chairman), Ding Wei and Guo Yutong; Independent Non-executive Directors Thaddeus Thomas Beczak, Fang Fenglei and Zhou Longshan.
