DEEPEXI TECH (01384) has announced its interim results for the 2026 fiscal year, reporting a significant year-on-year revenue increase of 115% to approximately RMB 284 million. The company's gross profit rose 120.5% to about RMB 160 million, while its net loss narrowed by 89.6% and its adjusted loss improved by 48.5% compared to the same period last year.
The revenue growth was primarily driven by the upgrade of the company's FastAGI enterprise-level artificial intelligence solution into the DeepexiOS AI-level enterprise operating system platform. This upgrade resulted in a substantial increase in revenue from this segment, which accounted for RMB 226 million in sales, a surge of 209.2% year-on-year. The strong performance was attributed to increased investment in computing power and research and development in areas such as enterprise agent platforms, proprietary large language models, and ontology datasets during the first half of 2026. This investment has established a stable and high-quality AI employee infrastructure and token productivity platform across industries like manufacturing, retail, scientific research, and public utilities, leading to growing market recognition and widespread adoption of the DeepexiOS platform.
Gross profit for the period increased by 120.5%, with the gross margin rising to 56.5% from 55.0% in the prior year, a 1.5 percentage point improvement. This was driven by the higher-margin DeepexiOS platform, whose gross margin rose from 55.2% in the six months ended June 30, 2025, to 57.2% in the same period of 2026, due to enhanced delivery efficiency from the stable AI employee infrastructure and token platform. The gross margin for the FastData enterprise-level data intelligence solution remained relatively stable at 54.8% and 53.6% during the respective periods.
Notably, on a single-quarter basis, the company achieved a net profit of RMB 30.1 million in the second quarter of the fiscal year, marking a turnaround to profitability.
