Hainan Low-Altitude Flight Service Center Supports S.F. Holding's Cross-Strait Drone Logistics Route for Regular Operations

Deep News12-03

On the morning of December 1, S.F. Holding launched a regular low-altitude drone logistics route between Haikou and Xuwen across the Qiongzhou Strait, injecting new momentum into the economic development of the region and the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port. The Hainan Low-Altitude Flight Service Center, under Hainan Airport Group, provided technical support for this flight, including military-civil aviation coordination and flight plan assistance.

As the only provincial-level comprehensive flight service station in Hainan, the center operates systems for both manned and unmanned aircraft. By October 2025, its manned aircraft system had processed 4.52 million flight plans for nearly 200 companies, facilitated 1.73 million flights, and provided 220,000 hours of flight services. Meanwhile, its drone supervision platform supported 28.13 million drone flights, totaling 2.87 million flight hours. In 2025, it assisted cross-strait drone operations for companies such as S.F. Holding, Hainan Dapeng, and Hainan Low-Altitude Tourism.

With the imminent island-wide customs closure policy, Hainan Airport Group is leveraging Free Trade Port policies and aviation advantages to boost both high- and low-altitude cargo trade. Recent achievements include securing regular drone logistics routes for S.F. Holding, launching Boao Airport’s first scheduled cargo flight in partnership with JD Airlines, and adding Haikou Meilan Airport’s inbound fruit inspection site to the national customs list. These developments enhance cargo flow efficiency and strengthen Hainan’s high-level international openness.

Moving forward, the Hainan Low-Altitude Flight Service Center will continue to prioritize flight service support, integrating airport safety management and premium service standards to offer one-stop solutions for low-altitude users and regulators. It aims to become a key driver in Hainan’s low-altitude economy.
