In order to further strengthen the cybersecurity awareness of party members and cadres, strictly enforce internet confidentiality discipline, and regulate the online conduct of public officials, the Xuri Street Community Practice Center for the New Era held a special lecture titled "Popularizing Cybersecurity Knowledge and Advocating a New Trend of Civilized Internet Use" on June 24. This initiative aims to firmly tighten the "safety valve" of online ideology for party members and cadres.

The lecture closely aligned with the practical work of public officials, focusing on three core areas: civilized internet use, daily cybersecurity, and the management of confidential information. On one hand, it clarified the guidelines for civilized internet use for party members and cadres, requiring all officials to strictly adhere to the bottom line of online speech, consciously resist online rumors, negative public opinion, and harmful online information, refrain from posting inappropriate remarks on online platforms or forwarding unverified content, and to play an exemplary role as party members in promoting a clean and positive online environment.

On the other hand, the lecture emphasized the requirements for cybersecurity and confidentiality work. By integrating scenarios from daily office work, it explained the proper use of office computers, work-related WeChat groups, and government service apps. It established strict disciplinary rules, including prohibitions on photographing or forwarding confidential work documents, leaking internal work information, transmitting confidential materials over external networks, and using unofficial software to process work-related data. The session also analyzed typical warning cases of information leaks and improper online conduct by public officials, using these examples as cautionary tales to sound the alarm on security.

Furthermore, interactive reminders were conducted on-site to urge party members and cadres to remain constantly vigilant about confidentiality and to regulate their online behavior both during and outside of working hours.

Moving forward, the Xuri Street Community Practice Center for the New Era will incorporate education on cybersecurity, internet civility, and confidentiality discipline into the regular learning curriculum for party members and cadres. It plans to conduct periodic warning education sessions and specialized studies to continuously standardize the online behavior of party members and cadres, reinforce responsibility for cybersecurity and confidentiality, and guide all party members and cadres to use the internet lawfully, civilly, and securely. The center aims to uphold the strict red line of confidentiality work and foster a strong sense of online literacy to project a positive image of public officials.
