National Average Pork Price Rises to 14.79 Yuan per Kilogram on April 21

On April 21, monitoring data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs showed the "200 Index" for agricultural product wholesale prices at 116.48, up 0.10 points from the previous day. The "Basket of Food" wholesale price index reached 117.13, increasing by 0.12 points from yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the national average pork price in wholesale markets was 14.79 yuan per kilogram, a 0.6% rise compared to yesterday. Beef was priced at 66.06 yuan per kilogram, down 0.5% from the previous day, while lamb cost 64.55 yuan per kilogram, declining 0.4%. The average price for eggs was 8.46 yuan per kilogram, falling 0.2%, and chicken stood at 17.30 yuan per kilogram, up 1.2%. The average price for 28 key monitored vegetables rose 0.5% to 4.34 yuan per kilogram. Six key fruits averaged 7.60 yuan per kilogram, increasing 0.3%. Crucian carp rose 1.3% to 20.09 yuan per kilogram, common carp climbed 1.2% to 14.75 yuan per kilogram, silver carp surged 4.0% to 10.82 yuan per kilogram, and hairtail dropped 0.9% to 41.67 yuan per kilogram.
