On March 20, Xiaomi unveiled its latest SU7 model, with prices starting at 219,900 yuan. Beyond significant hardware upgrades, the vehicle continues to excel in delivering emotional appeal through clever features. A blogger shared images of the new SU7's magnetic pet accessories, which include a mouse and a kitten design. Each pet contains an NFC chip; when placed on the driver-side wireless charging panel, the car's infotainment screen automatically displays a matching theme with animations and sound effects. This combination of emotional engagement and playful interaction is expected to strongly appeal to female consumers. If the driver needs to charge their phone, the magnetic pets can be attached to other magnetic points inside the cabin, such as above the rear air vents, on the side of the passenger seat, or on the ceiling—blending practicality with cuteness. According to Xiaomi Auto, the new SU7 adds nine magnetic attachment points throughout the interior. The NFC-enabled magnetic pets, priced at 79 yuan each, allow users to switch themes instantly when placed in designated spots. During the launch event, CEO Lei Jun encouraged toy manufacturers to develop magnetic accessories compatible with the vehicle.
