On October 31, the 13th Luobei County Primary and Secondary School Students' "New Star Cup" series competition, hosted by the County Education Bureau and organized by the County Youth Extracurricular Activities Center, kicked off with great excitement at the County Fourth Primary School.

The competition, themed "Chasing the Sun, Blossoming Toward the Light," attracted more than 100 young participants from 14 primary and secondary schools across the county.

The atmosphere at the competition venue was electric.

On stage, clear and melodious singing voices and heartfelt recitations took turns to perform; in the calligraphy and painting competition area, students focused intently and wielded their brushes, expressing their childlike innocence and depicting beautiful scenes through ink and color, fully demonstrating the vibrant spirit and solid artistic cultivation of Luobei's youth.

After on-site judging, the competition awarded first, second, and third prizes as well as excellence awards in the primary school and middle school groups for classic recitation and solo singing categories.

Zhou Qianmo, a student from the County First Primary School, served as the on-site host for the recitation category of this "New Star Cup" competition and witnessed their outstanding performances throughout.

"The students competing today showed particularly full spirit, and every contestant took the stage seriously and boldly showcased themselves. I truly felt their vibrant artistic energy and excellent mental outlook."

It is understood that the "New Star Cup" series competition covers three major categories: arts, sports, and science and technology.

This arts competition featured multiple categories including classic recitation, solo singing, hard-pen and brush calligraphy, hand knitting, sketching, and traditional Chinese painting, judged separately by primary school and middle school groups.

This competition served not only as a concentrated review of the aesthetic education achievements of primary and secondary schools in our county, but also as a vivid practice of nurturing hearts through beauty and educating people through art, further stimulating students' enthusiasm for learning art and guiding them to feel, discover, and create beauty through artistic practice.
