On September 22, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce released the "2026 China Top 500 Private Enterprises" list, which shows notable shifts in positions for several major companies compared to the previous year.

Ant Group Co., Ltd. now holds the 46th spot on the list, slipping five places from its 41st ranking in the 2025 edition. The company's revenue declined from 177.788 billion yuan in the prior period to 170.890 billion yuan, marking a decrease of 6.898 billion yuan.

Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co., Ltd. has dropped to 88th place, also falling five spots from its 83rd position last year. Despite the ranking decline, the company's revenue saw an uptick, rising from 115.780 billion yuan to 115.931 billion yuan, an increase of 152 million yuan.

Fujian Jinlun High-Fiber Co., Ltd. now sits at 161st place, down five positions from its 156th ranking in the 2025 survey. The company's revenue grew from 69.670 billion yuan to 71.866 billion yuan, adding 2.196 billion yuan year-over-year.

The annual list, which tracks the financial performance of China's largest private enterprises, highlights how revenue growth does not always translate into higher rankings, as competitive dynamics across the private sector continue to evolve.
