China Aluminum Cans lifts share capital by 2.12% after HKD 0.55 conversion share issue

China Aluminum Cans Holdings Limited (China Aluminum Cans) reported a 2.12% expansion in its issued share capital following the conversion of convertible notes into equity.

On 25 August 2026, the company allotted 20.00 million new ordinary shares at an issue price of HKD 0.55 per share. The conversion lifted the total number of issued shares (excluding treasury shares) from 944.05 million to 964.05 million.

No treasury shares were created, sold or cancelled in conjunction with this transaction, leaving the treasury share balance at zero. The board confirmed that the issuance was duly authorised and executed in full compliance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange listing rules and all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

The filing was signed by Director Lin Wan Tsang and submitted to the Exchange on 25 August 2026.
