RUIFENG POWER has announced an update regarding its strategic cooperation agreement. The agreement involves Hebei Ruifeng Technology Co., Ltd. (Hebei Ruifeng) and Beijing Huizhi Guoke Technology Co., Ltd. (Beijing Huizhi, collectively referred to as "the parties"). One key aspect of this partnership is a strategic collaboration in the manufacturing and global sales of intelligent underwater cleaning and inspection robots.
The group has recently initiated the trial production of four ship hull cleaning robots designed by Beijing Huizhi. These units are expected to be delivered to the customer in August 2026, after which acceptance procedures will commence. Following successful acceptance, these robot products will officially enter the commercial operation and sales phase.
This collaboration leverages the group's technological strengths in intelligent manufacturing and Beijing Huizhi's industry resources and expertise in the underwater robotics sector. Together, they aim to develop a new generation of efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly ship cleaning solutions.
The robot product incorporates smart navigation, precise operation, and remote control technologies. Preliminary design specifications indicate a cleaning efficiency exceeding 1,000 square meters per hour, navigation accuracy within +/-5 centimeters, a defect recognition rate of approximately 92%, and a maximum operational depth of 300 meters. This design is intended to enhance the efficiency of cleaning ship hulls, reduce risks associated with manual labor, and minimize environmental impact on marine ecosystems.
It is important to note that these preliminary specifications are based on design parameters and internal technical data provided by Beijing Huizhi. They are subject to further testing and final customer acceptance. Actual performance may vary depending on operational conditions, vessel type, underwater environment, and other factors.
The global shipping industry's increasing focus on energy conservation, emission reduction, and operational efficiency is driving a period of rapid growth in the ship cleaning market. Stricter international regulations concerning vessel emissions and marine pollution are further stimulating demand for intelligent and eco-friendly cleaning equipment. As an emerging niche market, ship cleaning robots possess significant future development potential and commercial prospects.
In recent years, the group has been actively expanding into the intelligent manufacturing and robotics sectors. It plans to continue increasing research and development investments and collaborating with industry leaders. This strategy paves the way for business diversification, particularly in exploring new markets within industrial robotics and service robotics.
The strategic partnership with Beijing Huizhi is expected not only to accelerate the commercialization of this new product but also to open up new revenue streams and profit growth opportunities for the group. As the product is gradually introduced to the market and achieves scale in sales, it is anticipated to enhance the group's overall profitability and market competitiveness, thereby strengthening returns for shareholders.
