On November 10, a delegation led by Lyu Yongqiang, Executive Dean of the School of Cybersecurity at Tianjin University, visited Qi An Xin Technology Group Inc. The two parties signed a strategic cooperation agreement to deepen collaboration in cybersecurity technology innovation, talent cultivation, and industry-academia-research integration, aiming to build a high-level ecosystem for cybersecurity talent development and technological advancement.
During the visit, the Tianjin University delegation toured Qi An Xin's Security Center exhibition hall, Industrial Control Security Laboratory, and Cybersecurity Command Center, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the company's core technological capabilities in security product R&D, offensive and defensive security, and major event protection.
Under the agreement, the collaboration will focus on three key areas: 1. **Technology Innovation**: Joint efforts will target cutting-edge fields such as hardware and chip security, cyberspace governance, software and system security, cyber offense and defense, and industrial internet security. The partners will establish a joint university-enterprise laboratory in Tianjin, prioritize breakthroughs in AI and data security technologies, undertake provincial and ministerial-level key research projects, and organize cybersecurity competitions in related fields.
2. **Talent Development**: The two sides will co-establish an "Outstanding Engineer" training program, combining academic mentorship with industry expertise to foster a deeply integrated industry-academia-research model for master's and doctoral talent cultivation. They will jointly develop a foundational training range integrating teaching, competitions, and drills, optimizing a three-tier practical training system (beginner-intermediate-advanced) to enhance students' hands-on skills. Additionally, a comprehensive training project combining "practical training, internships, and graduation projects" will be implemented, leveraging real-world enterprise projects to improve senior students' practical capabilities.
3. **Industry Applications**: Collaborative research will focus on applying AI technology in offensive/defensive operations and security incident analysis, refining AI agents, and supporting Tianjin's cybersecurity regulatory bodies and enterprises in cyber drills, situational awareness, and emergency response.
Liu Hao, Vice President of Qi An Xin Technology Group Inc., emphasized that cybersecurity is a critical component of national security, with talent development and technological innovation serving as core drivers of industry growth. As the top-ranked company in China's cybersecurity industry competitiveness rankings for four consecutive years, Qi An Xin serves over 98% of government departments, central enterprises, and financial institutions. The partnership with Tianjin University will leverage academic research strengths and enterprise expertise to build a high-level cybersecurity education system, addressing talent shortages and supporting China's digital transformation.
Lyu Yongqiang, Executive Dean of Tianjin University's School of Cybersecurity, highlighted the university's strong academic foundation and research capabilities in cybersecurity as a national "Double First-Class" institution. The collaboration will deepen integration in talent cultivation, scientific research, and commercialization, exploring a new model of "education-research-industry" synergy to cultivate high-end, interdisciplinary talent for China's cybersecurity sector.
Moving forward, Qi An Xin will continue to strengthen strategic partnerships with universities and research institutions, fostering an open, collaborative, and mutually beneficial cybersecurity innovation ecosystem to bolster national cybersecurity and digital economic development.
