Building on 15 years of deep collaboration with the U.S. military, advanced propellant technology company CycloKinetics has announced its official launch, positioning itself as a specialized supplier for the aerospace and defense sectors. The company is already operational within the U.S. Army, Navy, and Air Force, with multiple products deployed across various platforms.
CycloKinetics' product line includes three advanced propellants designed as direct replacements for existing fuels. CycloJP can substitute for traditional aviation fuels like Jet A, JP-5, JP-8, and JPTS, and is applicable to both manned and unmanned aircraft. CycloRP replaces RP-1 and RP-2 liquid rocket fuels and can significantly increase payload capacity per launch. The CK-10 is specifically designed for missile platforms, enhancing their range and strike distance. According to the company, its propellants offer an energy density 32% higher than existing fuels, which can extend aircraft range by approximately 30% and more than double spacecraft payload capacity.
The company's industrial production facility in Salt Lake City became operational in 2025, and product deliveries are currently underway. Coinciding with the company's launch, General Tod D. Wolters, former Commander of U.S. European Command and Supreme Allied Commander Europe of NATO, has joined the Board of Directors. Dr. Oscar Ruiz, former head of the Biomaterials Division at the Air Force Research Laboratory, has been appointed Senior Vice President of Strategy and Solutions.
Concurrently, CycloKinetics has released a white paper titled "Pilot, Aircraft, and Propulsion: The Trinity of America's Next Century of Air Superiority," which outlines the strategic role of advanced propellants in maintaining air superiority in emerging theaters such as the Indo-Pacific.
