International oil prices fell sharply on April 14, influenced by easing tensions in the Middle East. At the close of trading, the price of light crude oil for May delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange dropped by $7.80 to settle at $91.28 per barrel, a decline of 7.87%. Meanwhile, the price of Brent crude oil for June delivery on the London exchange fell by $4.57 to $94.79 per barrel, a decrease of 4.6%.
On April 15, following the renewed significant drop in international oil prices, the current crude oil change rate has reached -5.50%. It is estimated that oil prices will be lowered by 510 yuan per ton. Based on the current decline, gasoline and diesel prices are expected to fall again next week by 0.39 yuan to 0.46 yuan per liter.
