China's Commerce Ministry Criticizes US Semiconductor Export Restrictions

Deep News06-04

During a regular press conference on June 4, a spokesperson for China's Ministry of Commerce addressed recent US actions to close what it terms regulatory loopholes in chip controls.

The spokesperson stated that in recent years, the United States has persistently abused export controls under the pretext of national security.

These actions have severely infringed upon the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises, undermined the international economic and trade order, and significantly disrupted the stability of the global semiconductor industry and supply chains, a position China consistently opposes.

China urges the United States to promptly correct its erroneous practices, cease discriminatory measures against China, and work to safeguard the stability of global industrial and supply chains.
