HSBC Announces Early Redemption of HK$1.50 Billion and €2.00 Billion Notes in June 2026

HSBC Holdings plc (HSBC) will exercise its issuer call option to redeem two tranches of senior unsecured notes in June 2026, according to an overseas regulatory announcement released on 23 April 2026.

The bank will repay in full: 1) HK$1.50 billion 1.55% Series 42 Notes (ISIN XS2349742119) on 3 June 2026 at HK$1,000,000 per calculation amount, plus accrued interest from 3 June 2025 up to—but excluding—the redemption date. 2) €2.00 billion 3.019% Series 52 Fixed-to-Floating Rate Notes (ISIN XS2486589596) on 15 June 2026 at €1,000 per calculation amount, together with accrued interest from 15 June 2025 to—but excluding—the redemption date.

Both note series will be delisted shortly after redemption: the Series 42 Notes on or around 4 June 2026 and the Series 52 Notes on or around 16 June 2026, removing them from the Financial Conduct Authority’s Official List and the London Stock Exchange’s Main Market.

Investors holding the notes must look to their respective clearing systems for repayment processing.

As at 31 December 2025, HSBC reported total assets of US$3,233.00 billion and operates in 56 countries and territories.
