Viva Biotech buys back 1.48 million shares on 3 June; total 21.62 million repurchased since 8 May

Viva Biotech Holdings (Viva Biotech) reported no change in its total issued share capital as of 3 June 2026, which remains at 2.13 billion ordinary shares.

On 3 June 2026, the company repurchased 1.48 million shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HKD 1.22 to HKD 1.26 per share, for a total consideration of HKD 1.82 million. These shares are designated for cancellation.

Including this latest transaction, Viva Biotech has bought back 21.62 million shares between 8 May and 3 June 2026 that are pending cancellation. The cumulative repurchases represent approximately 1.02 % of the company’s issued shares outstanding on 12 June 2025—the date when shareholders granted authority for up to 212.84 million shares to be repurchased. The utilised portion of the mandate thus stands at roughly 10 %.

A 30-day moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales remains in effect until 3 July 2026, in accordance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules.
