14th "Rhythm of the Copper Capital, Law Safeguards Business" Event Held in Tongling Economic Development Zone

The 14th "Rhythm of the Copper Capital, Law Safeguards Business" event in Tongling was held on the afternoon of September 23 at the lecture hall of the Tongling Economic Development Zone. The event was chaired by Liu Chen, Deputy Director of the Tongling Economic Development Zone Administrative Committee. More than 100 participants attended, including Yu Jianguo, Chairman of the Tongling Federation of Industry and Commerce; Duan Wenming, Director of the Tongling Justice Bureau; Xu Hongtao, Vice Chairman of the Tongling Federation of Industry and Commerce; Zhu Qingmiao, Deputy Director of the Tongling Justice Bureau; heads of the Tongling Lawyers Association; and executives of enterprises in the park.

The specialized lecture session focused on new situations and new problems facing enterprise operations. Experts from the Tongling Lawyers Association and relevant personnel from the Tongling Justice Bureau provided policy interpretations on topics including the protection of the rights and interests of over-age workers, new regulations on housing provident funds and work-related injury insurance, and bilateral investment treaties (BITs) for enterprises going global. They explained the law through cases and highlighted key policy points, with content closely aligned with the practical needs of enterprise operations.

The legal consultation session provided targeted answers to high-frequency legal pain points in enterprises' daily operations. Attendees eagerly opened up and actively raised questions on real-world challenges such as corporate governance, compliance management, contract disputes, labor and employment, and intellectual property. Lawyers from the service team answered questions face to face, diagnosed legal risks for enterprises, and offered practical and feasible solutions, creating a lively atmosphere of exchange.

This law-to-the-park event precisely matched the legal needs of enterprises in the Economic Development Zone, helping them further enhance their awareness of compliance management and improve their risk prevention capabilities. In the next step, the Tongling Federation of Industry and Commerce will continue to deepen collaboration with the Justice Bureau and the lawyer profession, regularly promote the downward extension of legal services, and provide solid and detailed legal services that benefit enterprises, safeguarding the high-quality development of the city's private economy.
