At the time of writing, the stock was up 12.29% at HK$3.38 with a turnover of approximately HK$45.86 million.
The catalyst for the move was the launch of the company's electronic-grade high-purity hydrogen fluoride (HF) gas project on July 19th. Public information indicates that 6N-grade high-purity HF is essential for advanced semiconductor manufacturing processes at 28 nanometers and below. China has long been reliant on imports for this material, with foreign companies holding a dominant global market share of approximately 80%.
The current market price for 6N-grade high-purity HF exceeds 2 million RMB per ton.
BEFAR GROUP has completed the construction and commissioning of a 50-ton-per-year high-purity HF cylinder filling line and has obtained the necessary gas cylinder filling license from the Shandong Provincial Special Equipment Inspection Institute.
The company now possesses complete production, filling, and sales credentials and has commenced product promotion to key domestic and international clients.
