Hello Group Inc (MOMO.US) announced its second quarter 2025 financial results. According to the earnings report, Hello Group Inc recorded net revenue of RMB 2.6204 billion in Q2, down 2.6% year-over-year. The company reported a net loss attributable to the company of RMB 140 million, compared to a net profit of RMB 397.8 million in the same period of 2024. Net loss per ADS was RMB 0.84, versus earnings per ADS of RMB 2.11 in the prior year period.
In June 2025, Tantan's monthly active users (MAU) reached 10.2 million, compared to 12.9 million in June 2024. For the second quarter of 2025, Momo's total paying users were 3.5 million, down from 7.2 million in the same period last year. Tantan's paying users in Q2 2025 were 700,000, compared to 1 million in the same period of the previous year.
Net cash provided by operating activities in the second quarter of 2025 was RMB 250.1 million ($34.9 million), compared to RMB 475.2 million in Q2 2024.
For Q3 2025 guidance, the company expects total net revenue to be between RMB 2.59 billion and RMB 2.69 billion, representing a year-over-year decline of 3.2% to growth of 0.6%.
Following the earnings announcement, the stock declined nearly 5% in pre-market trading.
