XD Inc. (02400) saw its share price jump 15.09% in afternoon trading, now quoted at HK$41.50, with a turnover of HK$266.6 million.

On October 30, the National Press and Publication Administration issued domestic and imported game license approvals for October, with 183 domestic game licenses granted, maintaining a year-on-year increasing trend. Since 2026, a cumulative total of 1,708 domestic game licenses have been issued, already surpassing the full-year total of 1,676 in 2025.

It is worth noting that the domestic AAA title "Phantom Blade Zero" was officially unlocked on the TapPC platform on October 29, topping the global bestseller chart upon release.

Shenwan Hongyuan previously pointed out that the surge in game license approvals and new industry products are expected to drive a recovery in TapTap's revenue, with profits anticipated to recover in the second half of the year. Additionally, TapTap's value is undervalued, and AI-driven creative democratization is clearly beneficial to the platform.

The firm is optimistic that TapTap will benefit from the surge in game license approvals and AI creative democratization enhancing the community ecosystem, while existing games remain stable with slight growth and new products contribute elasticity.
