NIO-SW shares surged more than 4% during the morning trading session. At the time of writing, the stock was up 4.06%, trading at HK$47.18 with a turnover of HK$165 million.
The company announced its May delivery figures, reaching 37,705 vehicles, which represents a year-on-year increase of 62.3%. For the first five months of this year, NIO has delivered a total of 150,526 new vehicles, marking a 68.7% growth compared to the same period last year.
May was a month of intensive new product launches and deliveries for NIO. The company's flagship technology and executive SUV, the NIO ES9, was officially launched and delivered on May 27th. The Ledo L80, having been on the market for only 15 days, achieved 5,949 deliveries, setting a new record for delivery speed in the large five-seat pure electric SUV segment. Together with the 2026 model Ledo L90, the duo has surpassed the milestone of 10,000 combined deliveries, accelerating the transition of the large SUV segment into the electric era. The new Ledo L60 made its official debut and began pre-sales at the 30th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Auto Show on May 29th. Display vehicles are now arriving at showrooms nationwide, with the official market launch scheduled for June 11th.
