Reprinted from Xinyang Release: After the initial phase of admissions for our province's 2026 general higher education enrollment, some programs in the Higher Vocational (Junior College) early admission, arts, and sports categories still have available slots. New programs have also been added. Eligible candidates are now invited to submit supplementary applications. Relevant details are as follows.
1. Supplementary applications must be submitted online. Candidates planning to apply should log in to the Henan Provincial Education Examination Authority website (https://www.haeea.cn) between 9:00 and 18:00 on August 3 to review relevant information. Using their account and password, they should access the "Henan Province General Higher Education Admission Candidate Service Platform" (https://pzwb.haeea.cn) to check their file status, enter the application interface, and complete the online application process within the specified timeframe. The online system will close after the deadline, and no further submissions will be possible.
2. For the early admission category of general higher vocational (junior college) programs, all supplementary applications will follow a parallel filing system. Each "1 major + 1 institution" counts as one application unit, with no option to agree to major adjustments. Candidates may submit between 1 and 7 choices. Applicants must meet the required college entrance examination scores and must not be currently admitted to any institution. For the directed training of non-commissioned officers, only candidates certified as qualified by the provincial military district may apply.
3. Supplementary applications for the arts higher vocational (junior college) category will also use a parallel filing system. Each "1 major + 1 institution" counts as one application unit, with no option for major adjustments. Candidates may submit between 1 and 64 choices. Both the candidate's college entrance examination cultural scores and provincial unified arts professional examination scores must meet the admission control line for arts higher vocational (junior college) programs in our province.
4. Supplementary applications for the sports higher vocational (junior college) category will follow a parallel filing system. Each "1 major + 1 institution" counts as one application unit, with no option for major adjustments. Candidates may submit between 1 and 64 choices. Both the candidate's college entrance examination cultural scores and provincial unified sports professional examination scores must meet the admission control line for sports higher vocational (junior college) programs in our province.
5. Candidates cannot apply simultaneously to the early admission, arts, and sports categories of general higher vocational (junior college) programs. Within the early admission category, different subcategories cannot be combined; candidates may only select one. All supplementary applications will be processed using the parallel filing rule, admitting only those who submit valid applications and meet the corresponding conditions. Candidates are reminded to carefully review the requirements in the "Recruitment Examination Friend" professional directory and visit the relevant institution's website or the Ministry of Education's "Sunshine College Entrance Examination" website (https://gaokao.chsi.com.cn/) to thoroughly read the institution's admission regulations. They should fully understand the basic information, score requirements, language requirements, physical condition requirements, instrumental or dance type, single-subject score requirements, campus location, tuition fees, and admission rules before making informed choices.
6. For candidates who cannot submit supplementary applications due to being already admitted or having files in process, please check the prompts on the Henan Province General Higher Education Admission Candidate Service Platform or consult the local admissions examination authority.
7. According to documents such as the "Henan Provincial Department of Education's Notice on the 2026 General Higher Education Enrollment Work" (Teaching Examination Institute [2026] No. 70), candidates who fail to fulfill their application commitments during the admission process will have their electronic files suspended for that batch. For those with such circumstances in previous batches, their supplementary applications for the corresponding batch will not be processed.
8. Supplementary applications are an established part of our province's general higher education admission process, essential for completing enrollment plans and meeting candidates' educational aspirations. All levels of admissions examination authorities should attach great importance to this, enhance publicity, and arrange dedicated personnel for consultation services. Additionally, local admissions service centers should provide necessary support for candidates without internet access. Attachments: 1.
