Shoucheng’s H1 2026 Results: Profit HK$206 Million, Interim Dividend 2.07 Cents, Debt-Equity 10%

Shoucheng released its 2026 interim report showing revenue of HK$687.45 million, edging down 6.0 % year-on-year. Gross profit stayed flat at HK$294.89 million, while operating profit fell to HK$288.43 million from HK$454.85 million after a high base that included a HK$145.66 million disposal gain a year earlier.

Profit attributable to owners came in at HK$205.77 million versus HK$339.03 million in the prior-year period; excluding the 2025 one-off gain on disposal of Shougang Fushan Resources, underlying profit grew 6.7 %.

The Board declared an interim dividend of HK$165.26 million, equivalent to HK2.07 cents per share, payable on 17 November 2026 to shareholders on record as of 30 September 2026.

Cash and cash equivalents stood at HK$3.52 billion, complemented by HK$2.56 billion in fixed-income investments. Total assets were HK$14.90 billion against total liabilities of HK$4.77 billion, giving an asset-liability ratio of 32.0 % and a debt-equity ratio of 10.0 %.

During the period the company repurchased 310.02 million shares for HK$546.55 million, all recorded as treasury shares. All outstanding US$180 million 0.75 % convertible bonds issued in July 2025 were fully converted into 878.67 million shares by 10 February 2026, and delisted from the Stock Exchange on 2 March 2026.

Management highlighted more than RMB8 billion in unrealised gains from the Unitree Robotics investment held by its Beijing Robot Industry Development Fund and reported continued progress on new industrial and technology funds, parking-asset optimisation, and expansion of robot-technology experience stores.

No material post-balance-sheet events were reported, and the company confirmed full compliance with Hong Kong’s Corporate Governance Code and the Model Code on directors’ securities dealings.
