Key Kitchen Appliance Trends at AWE 2026: Vatti's Digital and End-to-End Strategy

The 2026 Appliance & Electronics World Expo (AWE) opened in Shanghai on March 12. This premier global home appliance event showcased cutting-edge technologies and innovations, painting a vibrant picture of the industry's future development.

During the event, Zhang Mei, General Manager of Vatti's Online Marketing Division, shared insights into the company's online marketing strategies and related initiatives. As a leading high-end kitchen appliance brand in China and one of the "Top Three Kitchen Appliance Manufacturers," Vatti has adopted a core strategy centered on "digitalization + full-link integration." The company has established a dual-focused approach of "product + service" in its online operations to accelerate marketing transformation.

Vatti's online marketing performance has been remarkable in recent years. According to data from AVC, as of 2025, Vatti's ultra-slim range hood models ranked first in both cumulative sales volume and sales value in online channels. Additionally, Vatti has created multiple popular products in the industry, such as the Little Flying Saucer hob and hood set, leading the trend of replacement consumption.

The theme of this year's AWE is "AI Technology, Smarter Future Living," emphasizing the integration of AI into real-life scenarios to reshape human-technology interactions, thereby delivering exceptional experiences and enhancing quality of life. This concept aligns closely with Vatti's strategic goal of using AI to redefine the smart kitchen.

Reviewing Vatti's initiatives since it pioneered intelligent transformation in the industry in 2018, the company is actively building a high-quality kitchen ecosystem centered around VCOO Smart Home, its self-developed intelligent management system. With the rapid advancement of AI technology, Vatti is exploring AI integration across all scenarios and processes, aiming to establish a proactive kitchen AI ecosystem based on large AI models.

Zhang Mei stated, "Vatti's criterion for AI implementation is clear: creating user value. We aim to apply AI technology in tangible, practical, and user-friendly scenarios to comprehensively enhance the user experience."

Specifically, Vatti's goal is to transform AI from a concept into a practical, aesthetically pleasing, and easy-to-clean experience. The company has already implemented a three-dimensional strategy covering AI control centers, AI sensing, and AI service systems. This includes interconnectivity between products, integration and perception across different scenarios, and service experience upgrades, covering the entire user lifecycle. This approach achieves "AI hidden in scenarios, serving people," thereby creating a healthier, more efficient, and warmer future kitchen.

Relevant research reports indicate that as consumers demand greater convenience, safety, and intelligence in home appliance usage, appliance services have evolved from traditional after-sales repairs to an integrated system covering pre-sales consultation, installation, and post-sales maintenance.

Vatti's approach to service enhancement appears more proactive. Zhang Mei emphasized, "The starting point of service should not be when a user reports a malfunction, but from the moment the user shows interest. This way, service can truly span the entire lifecycle of the consumer-brand relationship."

To make the service experience smoother, Vatti has embraced digital and intelligent technologies across the pre-service, in-service, and post-service stages. For example, in front-end consultations, Vatti will deploy 24/7 AI customer service on various platforms, supported by an ever-improving AI knowledge base, to provide instant responses to user inquiries about product specifications, installation requirements, and promotional activities.

In service fulfillment, an AI outbound call system automatically confirms appointment times with users and synchronizes service progress. If any abnormalities occur, the system immediately alerts and escalates the issue to human agents. To ensure service standardization, Vatti has implemented digital monitoring measures such as rescheduling confirmations, facial recognition check-ins, location verification, and fee transparency. These are complemented by electronic service reports and real-time remote video monitoring of technicians' work, making the service process visible and standardized.

Zhang Mei noted that Vatti's online services have been upgraded to a higher standard, matching its offline services: "1.5-hour response time, 48-hour quick and accurate installation, and 72-hour repair completion."

Pantone's Color of the Year for 2026 is "Cloud Dancer," an interesting coincidence as Vatti had already adopted a similar soothing yet stylish color palette as a primary design language earlier, launching products like the "Pure White Series."

Furthermore, ultra-slim and embedded designs emerged as dominant trends at this year's AWE. Vatti holds a competitive advantage in this area, being one of the first companies to propose and implement a "home integration" strategy and a leading brand in the ultra-slim range hood segment.

Zhang Mei introduced Vatti's new strategic product line, the "Hidden Series." This comprehensive kitchen solution covers range hoods, hobs, water heaters, disinfectors, dishwashers, and embedded appliances. It incorporates Vatti's latest technological achievements, such as patented steam cleaning, drip-free triple circulation, smart dry-burn protection, and AI control. The product's CMF has also been upgraded, featuring AG tactile glass for enhanced aesthetics and ease of cleaning.

This product philosophy, balancing spatial and functional aesthetics, has gained recognition from industry authorities. Recently, Vatti's Hidden Series range hood Y9 won the AIPELAN Innovation Award at the 2026 expo.

Zhang Mei concluded, "Vatti's product renewal in the online space is not merely a style update but a systematic upgrade from single products to integrated suites, from functionality to experience, and from appliances to home integration. The goal is to provide users with a higher-end, more unified, and quality-focused kitchen solution."
