On August 28, financial sector news indicated that Postal Savings Bank Of China Co.,Ltd. released its interim results today. The data shows that in terms of business scale, as of the end of the reporting period, total assets reached RMB 19.82 trillion, an increase of 6.07% compared to the end of the previous year; among which total customer loans stood at RMB 10.27 trillion, up 6.41% from the end of the previous year.
Total liabilities amounted to RMB 18.62 trillion, an increase of 6.26% from the end of the previous year; among which customer deposits reached RMB 17.44 trillion, up 5.42% compared to the end of the previous year. In terms of profitability, during the reporting period, the bank achieved operating revenue of RMB 192.482 billion, a year-on-year increase of 7.26%; net interest income was RMB 147.147 billion, up 5.82% year-on-year; and non-interest net income reached RMB 45.335 billion, representing a growth of 12.25% year-on-year.
The bank realized a net profit of RMB 51.671 billion, up 4.57% year-on-year, and achieved a net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company of RMB 51.503 billion, an increase of 4.62% year-on-year.
In terms of asset quality, the bank has focused on improving a "comprehensive, full-process, real-time, and all-encompassing" risk management system, strengthening forward-looking prevention, strictly controlling access thresholds, enhancing dynamic monitoring, and actively resolving existing risks, keeping the risk situation stable and controllable. As of the end of the reporting period, the non-performing loan ratio was 1.00%, and the provision coverage ratio stood at 214.93%.
