Deep News03-17 09:20

Data collected over the past 24 hours indicates a general decline in the average retail prices of major Chinese baijiu brands on March 17. If one bottle of each key product were bundled for sale, the total price would be 10,558 yuan today, down 21 yuan from the previous day, marking the lowest level in nearly two weeks. Market sentiment has turned noticeably cautious, with trading activity slowing down.

Most major baijiu products experienced price decreases. On the upside, Blue-and-White Langjiu led gains with an increase of 5 yuan per bottle, continuing its upward trend. Yanghe Dream Blue M6+ rose by 2 yuan per bottle, ending a five-day losing streak. Among decliners, Wuliangye普五八代 fell the most, dropping 8 yuan per bottle amid heightened trading volume. Gujiao 1573 decreased by 5 yuan per bottle, while Fenjiu Blue-and-White 20 declined by 4 yuan per bottle. Feitian Moutai, Premium Moutai, Wuliangye 1618, and Xijiu Junpin each edged down by 2 yuan per bottle, fluctuating within recent ranges. Gujing贡古20 and Crystal Jiannanchun both saw minor decreases of 1 yuan per bottle.

Daily pricing data is compiled from approximately 200 collection points nationwide, including authorized distributors, independent retailers, e-commerce platforms, and retail outlets. The data reflects actual transaction prices over the past 24 hours, providing objective and traceable market information. Since the official iMoutai platform began selling Feitian Moutai at 1,499 yuan per bottle and Premium Moutai at 2,299 yuan per bottle earlier this year, the new channel has gradually influenced retail market averages. The daily price calculations incorporate volume-weighted adjustments, including verifiable transaction data for Feitian Moutai and Premium Moutai.

In industry developments, Kweichow Moutai held its 2026 International Distributors Conference in Guiyang on the 16th. The company announced the completion of its "2026–2030 International Market Transformation Plan," outlining a shift from channel-driven to consumer-driven global operations. In 2026, the company will focus on six key areas—international branding, product offerings, pricing strategies, distribution channels, market development, and compliance—with an emphasis on Asia and North America, particularly Belt and Road Initiative countries in Southeast Asia. Chairman Chen Hua emphasized that the company will leverage its regional, craftsmanship, and brand strengths to expand globally, optimizing product mix, refining pricing, and building distribution networks to cultivate consumer loyalty and establish international markets as a new growth driver.
