Stock News07-10

LEAPMOTOR (HKEX: 09863) shares rose more than 6% during trading. At the time of writing, the stock was up 6.51% to HK$37.64, with a turnover of HK$211 million.

Key Drivers Behind the Move

The company announced via its official Weibo account this morning that its cumulative new vehicle registrations in Italy's pure electric vehicle (EV) market for the first half of the year reached 24,269 units. This represents a staggering year-on-year increase of approximately 1,449%.

Market Position and Model Performance

LEAPMOTOR achieved a 29.4% market share in Italy's pure EV segment, solidifying its top position in the industry. The LEAPMOTOR T03 model became Italy's best-selling pure EV model for the period, while the LEAPMOTOR B10 secured a leading position in its specific market segment.

New Product Introduction

In other news, the company officially unveiled the LEAPMOTOR A05s, the first sedan in its A-series lineup.

Recent Delivery Momentum

The company's monthly deliveries for June reached 93,376 vehicles, setting a new record and maintaining its lead as the top-selling emerging automaker.

Analyst Perspective on Growth

Analysts note that with the ramp-up of the new C-series models and the upcoming launch and delivery of new vehicles like the D99 and the A05 later this year, the company's product portfolio is becoming increasingly comprehensive. This is expected to support continued high growth in sales volume.

International Expansion Outlook

Furthermore, the company is actively advancing its overseas strategy, covering product offerings, sales channels, and production capacity. Annual export sales are anticipated to exceed the upper end of the company's guidance. The international expansion is viewed as a potential second major growth driver for both volume and profitability.
