KEEP Launches Premium AI Membership, Marking a New Phase of Productized Vertical AI Applications

Stock News17:26

On August 5th, fitness technology company KEEP (03650) officially released the 9.1 version of the Keep App, simultaneously introducing a new membership tier called "Super AI Membership." This represents another significant product launch following the company's earlier announcement of its proprietary fitness-focused large language model, Keepace.ai. The Super AI Membership integrates capabilities such as AI voice-interactive running, diet-sleep-exercise analysis, and biological age assessment into a standalone service, targeting users who seek deep, personalized guidance. It offers a comprehensive, full-cycle fitness experience covering workout planning, execution tracking, and performance review. To lower the barrier to entry, from August 7th to 28th, Keep will run an in-app campaign called "Check-in to Earn Super AI Membership, Accumulate for Health 'Gold'," along with a charitable donation initiative, encouraging more users to experience the benefits of AI services in real exercise scenarios.

The newly launched Super AI Membership is not a replacement for or a forced upgrade of the existing membership. The standard membership continues to offer basic benefits such as exclusive courses, personalized plans, and posture assessment. The Super AI Membership includes all standard member benefits and adds features like AI voice-interactive running, diet-sleep-exercise analysis, biological age assessment, and a gym tool (coming soon). These two membership types cater to different needs, allowing users to choose based on their training habits and desired level of service depth.

In specific scenarios, the AI voice-interactive running feature enables two-way conversation during a run, providing guidance and encouragement based on pace, cadence, and real-time condition. Personalized schedules arrange training plans based on a user's basic information, fitness goals, and recent performance. Photo-based diet analysis identifies food items and calculates calorie deficits and nutritional ratios based on fitness targets. Exercise data and sleep analysis convert scattered metrics into more understandable and actionable adjustment suggestions. The biological age function integrates sleep, cardiovascular, and other indicators to help users understand the gap between their physical condition and actual age. The upcoming full launch of the gym tool will support equipment recognition via camera to recommend exercises and assist with training programming and logging through voice commands.

This shows that the AI membership offers not a static course or a one-time tool, but a dynamic, continuously evolving health plan based on personal data. As users generate new exercise and health data, the service content will update in real-time. In April, Keep unveiled Keepace.ai, its proprietary large language model designed specifically for the fitness sector. Since then, the model has been continuously iterated, with capabilities like AI voice-interactive running and more comprehensive data analysis gradually being implemented. The launch of the Super AI Membership represents a centralized productization of these developed capabilities, marking a shift for Keep's AI strategy from underlying technology investment to a new phase of productization and service delivery.

Unlike simply integrating a general-purpose large language model, Keepace.ai incorporates billions of exercise data points accumulated over the past decade on the Keep platform. It also leverages the scientific support of expert teams in sports health from the Capital University of Physical Education and Sports, combining their deep research in exercise physiology, training science, and injury prevention. This allows the system to be both "user-aware" and maintain a strict safety baseline, delivering highly personalized exercise guidance that mitigates risk. Keep stated that it will continue its long-term investment in AI research and productization, gradually transforming technological capabilities into user-perceptible service experiences and exploring new commercialization pathways. The company expects to further release the application value of AI in the vertical fitness sector throughout the second half of this year.
