SERES Repurchases 2.18 Million A-Shares for RMB 115.66 Million; Cumulative Pending Cancellations Reach 8.98 Million Shares

Seres Group Co., Ltd. (SERES, SSE: 601127; HK: 09927) disclosed a Next Day Return on 14 July 2026 detailing the latest progress of its on-market share buy-back programme.

On 14 July 2026, SERES repurchased 2.18 million A-shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange at prices ranging between RMB 52.08 and RMB 53.75 per share, for an aggregate consideration of RMB 115.66 million. The volume represents 0.13% of the company’s 1.63 billion issued shares outstanding.

Including this transaction, shares bought back for cancellation but not yet cancelled now total 8.98 million, equivalent to roughly 0.55% of SERES’s current issued share base. Since 24 April 2026, the company has executed eight repurchase tranches, with individual volumes and average prices as follows:

• 24 Apr 2026: 0.55 million shares at RMB 90.76 • 08 May 2026: 1.10 million shares at RMB 90.42 • 05 Jun 2026: 0.67 million shares at RMB 75.89 • 09 Jun 2026: 0.35 million shares at RMB 71.75 • 11 Jun 2026: 0.89 million shares at RMB 67.78 • 15 Jun 2026: 0.62 million shares at RMB 68.36 • 13 Jul 2026: 2.63 million shares at RMB 55.04 • 14 Jul 2026: 2.18 million shares at RMB 53.06 (volume-weighted average)

Based on the disclosed volume-weighted average prices, total cash deployed across these eight tranches amounts to approximately RMB 587.41 million, implying an average repurchase cost of about RMB 65.44 per share.

The company’s issued share capital stood unchanged at 1,633.37 million shares as of 14 July 2026, pending formal cancellation of the repurchased shares.
