Zoneco Group Co.,Ltd. (002069.SZ) has announced plans to invest in constructing a deep-sea raft aquaculture project within its existing authorized sea area southwest of Zhangzidao. The project will focus on cultivating various species, including one-year-old Yesso scallops, and will involve trialing and exploring mechanized, intelligent, and ecological scallop farming technologies.
The project will cover an approximate sea area of 24,000 mu and involve around 3,000 aquaculture rafts. The total investment in raft materials is estimated at 53.6275 million yuan, to be funded through the company's own capital or self-raised funds. The construction period is set at six months.
Upon completion, the project is expected to expand the company's deep-sea raft aquaculture area and increase the production capacity for one-year-old Yesso scallops. This expansion is anticipated to enhance the company's ability to navigate industry cyclical fluctuations. Furthermore, by introducing mechanized harvesting equipment and intelligent environmental monitoring systems, the project will drive the transformation of the company's farming model toward greater facility-based and intelligent operations, reducing reliance on traditional manual labor.
Additionally, the shorter cultivation cycle for one-year-old scallops allows them to complement the company's existing bottom-sowing enhancement products.
