Beijing Caidui Information Technology Co., Ltd. (True Talents Connect, "TTC") recently announced the completion of a Series A funding round reaching the tens of millions of U.S. dollars. This round was led by Houxue Capital, with strategic investment from Baidu. Previously, TTC's self-developed AI Agent product, "Wheat Recruitment," won the top prize in the third Baidu "Wenxin Cup" Entrepreneurship Competition, and this financing round signifies its official entry into a new phase of integration with the Baidu ecosystem.
TTC stated that the funds raised will be primarily used to strengthen R&D in large AI models and Agent technology, continuously upgrade the user experience of the "Wheat Recruitment" product, and deepen the development of a specialized talent service team focused on the AI and hard tech sectors.
Since its inception, TTC has focused on the AI and cutting-edge technology sectors, operating around an "AI + Headhunting" model to provide key talent solutions for enterprises, dedicated to efficiently connecting talent with opportunities through technology (AI).
Its core team combines a headhunting pedigree with AI technical expertise: TTC's founder and CEO, Xiao Mafeng (Max), possesses 17 years of experience in the high-end headhunting industry and was involved in building a leading domestic mid-to-high-end headhunting brand. Co-founder and CTO, Ning Liaoyuan, brings a technical background from Microsoft (USA) and ByteDance, with long-term, deep expertise in AI architecture and model implementation, providing sustained support for the company's AI capabilities and productization.
The year 2025 is regarded as TTC's AI元年 (AI Genesis Year). The company launched its core product, 'Wheat Recruitment,' which deciphers the judgment logic and industry knowledge of top-tier headhunters into structured models, empowering an AI Agent to achieve intelligent upgrades across the entire job seeking and recruitment chain, making the vision of "a professional AI headhunting consultant for everyone" a possibility.
